4 dead, 1 injured after 1 of Missouri's head-on collisions

When it comes to driving on Missouri roads, just thinking about being in a head-on collision can be quite scary. It goes without saying that head-on collisions often result in grave injuries, such as spinal cord and brain injuries, and often death. A recent head-on collision in Missouri has claimed the life of four individuals and injured another.

The crash involved a total of three separate cars. Apparently, a 19-year-old and his vehicle crossed into another lane, which caused his vehicle to crash head-on with a 57-year-old and her vehicle. Her vehicle then struck another vehicle, which was driven by a 46-year-old man.

The drivers of the first two vehicles were pronounced deceased at the crash scene. The other two individuals that were killed in the accidents were passengers in both vehicles. They also died at the scene of the accident. A 39-year-old man, who was a passenger in the second vehicle, was transported to the hospital for medical treatment and is currently in serious condition. The driver of the third vehicle did not report any injuries sustained from the accident.

The injured victim and families of the deceased victims may wish to pursue legal action in civil court to recover monetary damages due to the possible negligence of the at-fault driver. If this driver proves to be someone who died in the collision, a case can be pursued against his or her estate. Financial restitution will most definitely not undo the grief or trauma that this unexpected accident has caused. However, it may help alleviate some of the financial burdens that are often associated with injuries and fatalities related to head-on collisions in Missouri, such as medical costs, funeral expenses and other accident-related costs.
