Ashley S. Grace

Kansas City, Missouri

I grew up in southern Missouri and moved to Kansas City to attend UMKC School of Law. I quickly fell in love with the city and am proud to call it my home. After graduating law school, I was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Janette K. Rodecap at the Jackson County, Missouri Circuit Court. As a clerk, I was able to take the legal theory I learned in law school and apply it to real cases. I spent countless hours observing court proceedings and discussing legal issues with judges and attorneys.

I enjoy helping people and working to solve problems, and practicing employment law is a way to do just that. When I ask people to tell me about themselves, they almost always tell me what they do for a living. Our work is a part of who we are and how we define ourselves. When an employment-related issue arises, it can become very personal. My goal is to help my clients by finding the right resolution for their specific cases.
