Mirena IUD

The Mirena IUD is a T shaped hormonal based IUD manufactured by Bayer. It was approved for use in 2000 and launched in the US in 2001. The IUD has been known to migrate from the uterus. The signature injury associated with the Mirena IUD is perforating the uterus, often accompanied by a sudden onset of abdominal pain. Such an event can occur weeks or months after the IUD has been confirmed as being properly placed. Migration of the IUD can be confirmed by sonogram, MRI or xray. Transvaginal Mesh

Transvaginal Mesh is surgically used to correct several rectal and pelvic conditions. The mesh however has been shown to cause severe and sometimes debilitating injuries. The injuries include erosion, extrusion, dyspareunia and an increased risk of organ perforation and nerve damage. If you have experienced any if these complications we may be able to help.
